Revelation Book- RELOADED!
by architect in.
so does anyone know if the article in the sept km is suggesting that "new light" has flashed for all these changes occuring in the outdated revelation book?.
how could the spirit direction be so wrong in the first place or should i say "untruthful".

I was at a Salvation Army store yesterday to pick up some used clothing, and I looked over the books as well. Of course, there was a plethora of old WTS books. One of them was in brand new condition, so I picked it up. It was much nicer and far thicker than the others. The title was Babylon The Great Has Fallen, God's Kingdom Rules. It was all of fifty cents so I bought it. When I got it home I eagerly sat down with it thinking I would gain a bit mor einsight into WT arcane chicanery. Alas, the book is well nigh incomprehensible. I threw it away.

The Final Truth?

how many here would agree with this?

Seeker4, James Thomas, Tall Penguin, Warlock, Khufu, Paul, Twitch, JWFacts, Ade, Pope, Flash, thank you one and all for some extremely interesting reading. Paul, thank you for the hand of friendship. I clasp it. Ade, if I have any solid core conviction it's Determinism. Tha ancients called it Fate. The ancients could blame all of their faults and failures on the Fates, but all we can do is blame genetics and environment. What a scam. Seriously, though, I actually sat down and wrote out my thoughts on free will. I recommend it to everyone, to do this one's core convictions. Probably a lot of you have done it here. I thoroughly enjoyed getting so many responses.

SUREFIRE way of shutting up that evangelical that is driving you nuts
by Mistah MOJO inmy only extensive experience of organized religion was the jehovah's witnesses.
my imprisonment in that sect was mercifully brief.
however, my experience with the "borned agin" crowd is very extensive.

Hello Renand_Stimpy: "That's my opinion however, I'd give you my wallet if you asked for it anyway, but just for fun.. it's empty. :) "
I mean no disrepsect to you personally, but I have found religion to be as empty as your wallet. After leaving the Witnesses--a two year involvement that was mainly an intellectual dabble--my interest in religion was piqued. Also, my bride-to-be has a little sister that has been left quite addled and deformed in her psyche by having been raised a Jehovahs Witness. So, I've been studying world religions. Buddhism offers some common sense observations about life, even if they are a bit on the trite side. Other than that, religion is either lunacy or a wasteland, take your pick. Also, I would never want to be a glad-handed evangelical, all flash and no substance. I know too many of these people all too well. They're the same people they always were, just a different veneer. Scratch that veneer and you'll find the same predatory ape we all are. MM -

Etude, apparently this site cannot reproduce Chinese characters. The result, when I replied to you in Mandarin, was simply a series of questiuon marks. How odd, since this site reproduces digital images perfectly. On to the point, I enjoyed your post, but I'm not quite ready to throw in the towel. I'm not looking for Truth in religion or philosophy. However, I may perhaps discover my own "Truth." I've picked up a delightful Clue from parakeet; since the Bible is in fact devoid of meaning for a modern person, I should read into it anything I please. Historically, such a path is a proven route to fame and fortune if one has charisma to match one's cajones. Oh, and I too enjoyed Hitchhikers Guide.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not a CULT ...
by Fatfreek inaccording to 30% of the following definitions.
that leaves 70% that show quite the opposite.
so -- are they a cult?
-
Mistah MOJO
I have two--yes two--dictionaries and each one defines "cult" as a synonym for religion. Religion is cult, cult is religion. However, I suspect both of these dictionaries are out of date. The word "cult" began to transmogrify sometime in the latter half of the twentieth century, as far as I can tell. The word was picked up, emptied of its historical denotation, and given a new denotation by zealous evangelicals and fundamentalists who were determined to extend their "us versus them" mentality into the cult-ure at large. So, "cult" has now become a word for "bad religion." As if there is a religion whose effects have not been primarily deleterious. MM
